Happy New Year MRG fans! The 2017 season is gearing up to be another challenging one for the ladies in green. With the loss of several key skaters in 2016, there are quite few fresh new faces in this season’s line up. A surprise addition in 2017 is the return of Brick Walls, who left MRG a few seasons back to play with the Atlanta Rollergirls. She made MRG proud as she rose through the ranks and landed a spot on their All-Star Travel team, the Dirty South Derby Girls. She returns this season to be closer to home and play with the league that ignited her passion for roller derby. Brick’s skill and talent will come in handy when MRG plays rematch bouts with Greenville and the Jukes of Hazzard as well as when they take on new opponents at the Low Down Throw Down Tournment and the Savannah Summer Slam in 2017.
