Columbus, GA (April 30, 2014) – The Muscogee Roller Girls (MRG) claimed yet another big win in their second home bout of the season, 240-162 over the Tallahassee JailBreak Betties (JBB). While the JBB put up a good fight, MRG came out on top to take their second win of the season.

From the starting jam whistle, MRG showed no mercy, quickly taking the lead with quick precision from their jammers and dominating wall techniques from blockers. MRG was able to control both offense and defense, and accelerated their lead with multiple power jams courtesy of their star jammers.

In the end, it was MRG’s “show no mercy” attitude that lead them to the win. All MRG players saw success this bout, with MVP Jammer going to Cho Cold and MVP Blocker going to DodgeHer.

Halftime featured a phenomenal martial arts routine from Won’s Martial Arts students. The young karate masters gave a killer performance with aerial kicks & stunts that amazed the crowd. MRG also raffled off a 2014 49cc scooter courtesy of Ray’s Motorsports, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Autism Hope Center in Columbus. Lynne Schneider of Pelham, AL (and mother of MRG’s own Jill Dozer) was lucky enough to win the grand prize.

MRG celebrated their second win of the season at the after party, featuring an acoustic set from former Sevendust guitarist Dixie Duncan. The team will take on the Marietta Derby Darlins on Saturday, May 3 in Marietta, GA.
